This position requires operation, implementation, and improvements of existing and new Citrix on-premise implementations across multiple global datacenters.
The individual will lead the global Citrix team responsible for support, administration, monitoring, troubleshooting, and participating in projects to enhance service and productivity.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide L3+ support to delivery teams on escalated issues.
- Generate root-cause analysis for critical incidents and problems.
- Engage with vendors for support, updates, and planning.
- Take ownership of designated Citrix technologies and platforms.
- Maintain and share current internal documentation.
- Evaluate and plan for future capacity and technology changes in the Citrix environment.
- Create Citrix solutions to meet business needs in partnership with stakeholders.
- Prepare documents defining SLAs, SOW, and other requirements.
- Manage a 24x7 support team directly.
- Require in-depth knowledge and 10+ years of experience in troubleshooting, implementing, and managing complex Citrix environments.
- Citrix Certified Professional is a plus but not required.
- At least five years of experience in an ITIL-managed environment.
- Expertise in the entire Citrix product suite, including Netscaler, XenApp, XenDesktop, and legacy products.
- Ability to work with customers, project managers, and engineers to develop managed infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server OS and networking.
- Experience with implementation and migration in medium to large enterprise Citrix environments.
- Excellent communication skills for client and leadership interactions.
