Job Description:

Position: For a new logistics center in Germany, a Site General Manager (m/f/d) for contract logistics is sought.

Responsibilities:

• Establishing, developing, and managing a large warehouse location
• Leading and developing shift-based staff
• Ensuring optimal workflows with regard to quality and efficiency
• Managing high-profile international client accounts independently
• Handling budget management and reporting to the German management
• Continuously optimizing logistics processes
• Defining and implementing new logistics projects
• Contract compliance and deviation analysis

The location is currently unknown; willingness to relocate or maintain a secondary residence may be required.

Requirements:

• Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Logistics, SCM, or a related field
• Extensive professional experience in logistics and/or SCM
• Multiple years of management experience across various levels
• Knowledge of SCM and logistics processes
• Familiarity with methods like Lean Management, Kaizen, or Six Sigma
• Passion for new technologies and trends in logistics
• Analytical and conceptual thinking skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Fluent in German and English
