SPT Labtech has an exciting opportunity for a Territory Sales Manager. To join our team, you'll be based in and covering the Western region of Germany. You will have overall responsibility and oversight for the sales success of our product range, working alongside our talented commercial team. You should be a highly organized, proactive Sales Manager with a strong Life Sciences background and solid knowledge of the lab automation/liquid handling product market, which is an advantage.

Your key responsibilities will include:
- Promotion, market development, and sales of SPT Labtech's liquid handling and sample management product lines into the genomics, protein crystallization, and drug discovery markets across your sales territory, focusing on SPT lines.
- Managing all pre-sale activities until the purchase order and supporting post-sales activities.
- Working independently in the territory and collaborating closely with sales specialists, support, product management, and marketing teams.
- Scheduling and conducting product presentations and demonstrations to customers.
Achieving the 10 missions listed below:
- Presenting the company, its history, culture, and strategy effectively.
- Managing the customer database and proposing a strategy based on quantifiable objectives.
- Organizing work time according to priorities to achieve personal and company goals.
- Implementing company and market priorities effectively.
- Developing and following up on opportunities, balancing different product lines, and collaborating with product specialists.
- Building a consultative relationship and becoming a trusted advisor to customers.
- Positioning SPT solutions in relation to customer workflows and explaining the benefits using all available communication tools.
- Maintaining excellent product and service knowledge and proposing global solutions through cross-selling.
- Ensuring application knowledge is up-to-date with support functions like training and e-learning.
- Managing CRM data and related activities.
About you and your skills:
- You will be located in the Western region of Germany with an established network across this area.
- Experience in a capital equipment sales role in Life Sciences. Experience with automated liquid handling technologies or lab automation solutions is advantageous but not essential.
- An undergraduate degree or equivalent in a Life Science discipline; background in Genomics or Protein Crystallography is a plus.
- Prepared for significant travel (up to 50%) within the region and near a travel hub.
- Familiar with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.
- Proven success in developing business and conducting presentations to diverse audiences.
- Autonomous, a team player, and capable of working remotely.
