My client who are a supplier of intralogistic solutions across a wide range of industries, including healthcare, are looking for a highly experienced Business Development Manager to further develop the North area.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Serve as a regional contact for client inquiries and needs, both remotely and through on-site visits
  • Handle the preparation, processing, and monitoring of quotes and service-related transactions
  • Maintain and grow relationships with key business partners, fostering long-term engagement
  • Design and implement customised support strategies based on product usage and life cycle
  • Liaise regularly with service leadership, technical personnel, and internal departments
  • Step in for internal support coordination roles as needed to ensure continuity
  • Bridge communication between local clients, field technicians, and central service units
  • Contribute to regional service performance and support initiatives to expand market presence

Qualifications :

  • Background in a technical or commercially-oriented technical field (e.g., business-engineering, industrial admin)
  • Initial exposure to service coordination, customer-facing roles, or field operations
  • Familiarity with regional service structures; local client support experience is a bonus
  • Solid understanding of automation technologies i.e., SPS and / or CodeSys
  • Skilled in MS Office tools and ERP platforms (Microsoft Dynamics BC preferred)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Organised, proactive, and able to work independently on solutions
  • Willingness to travel regionally and manage time effectively across tasks
