Your responsibilities

As a Senior Java Developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing new software modules and features using the Spring Framework, JPA / Hibernate, and SQL databases. You will contribute to maintaining high software quality by writing automated tests and adhering to best development practices. Working within an agile team, you will take ownership of complex IT projects and serve as a technical point of contact for your colleagues. Your expertise and innovative ideas will help shape and enhance the development roadmap.

Our requirements

• 5+ years of experience with Java (preferably Java 8 or newer)
• Strong expertise in Spring Framework, especially Spring Boot and RESTful API development
• Strong proficiency in JPA and Hibernate ORM frameworks
• Experience with Maven for project and dependency management
• Proficient in version control systems, specifically SVN and GitLab
• Solid knowledge of SQL databases, including experience with Oracle, MSSQL, and/or PostgreSQL
• Ability to write unit and integration tests using JUnit and Mockito to ensure code quality and reliability
• Understanding of secure, scalable, and performant application development
• High sense of responsibility
• Discretion in handling confidential data
• Friendly demeanor
• Good knowledge of English (B+ level)

Optional

• Familiarity with containerization using Docker and Docker Compose
• Exposure to orchestration tools such as Kubernetes
• Exposure to front-end frameworks, especially Angular
• Hands-on experience with Apache Tomcat for application deployment and configuration
