We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our executive leadership team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management, strategic planning, and operational efficiency within the pharmaceutical manufacturing sector. This position will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company, ensuring robust financial controls, guiding financial planning, and contributing to long-term growth
strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the financial strategy and planning for the company, aligning with business objectives and ensuring financial sustainability.
- Oversee the preparation of financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and management reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local regulations and international standards.
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and capital expenditure to ensure the financial health of the organization.
- Implement and monitor internal controls and processes to mitigate financial risk.
- Collaborate closely with senior leadership to evaluate business performance, identify opportunities for cost reduction, and enhance profitability.
- Lead financial due diligence, M&A activities, and other strategic initiatives.
- Manage relationships with auditors, tax advisors, banks, and other financial institutions.
- Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical industry regulations and financial reporting requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, reporting systems, and performance metrics.
Requirements:
- University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or equivalent qualification is highly desirable.
- Proven experience (10+ years) as a CFO or in senior finance roles, ideally within the pharmaceutical or manufacturing sectors.
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical industry regulations, financial modeling, and operational finance.
- Experience with M&A, restructuring, and international financial operations.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team, as well as work cross-functionally with other departments.
- In-depth knowledge of financial software and ERP systems, preferably SAP.
- Fluent in English and German (both written and spoken); knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
- Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and drive change effectively.
