Senior Functional Consultant (SD) - Krailling, Munich - Permanent opportunity

I am currently supporting a global industrial 3D printing provider in their search for a Senior Functional Consultant to join their Sales team in Krailling, Munich on a permanent basis.

Responsibilities:

• Work with their SAP landscapes to bring value to product teams, management, and internal clients.
• Assist sales and service teams worldwide from requirements analysis to implementation.
• Lead system introductions, release changes, and improvements as a project manager in agile and traditional projects.
• Advise on process design, digitalisation, automation, and visualization of business processes.
• Be the contact for employees regarding sales and service systems, supporting incident and change management, and 2nd level support.
• Manage application development, perform system tests, parameterize systems, and create/update technical documentation.
• Support IT architecture and software design of sales and service solutions and interfaces.

Experience required:

• At least 5 years of SAP experience in SAP SD, SAP LE, SAP GTS, or PI/PO.
• Experience as a project manager in IT organizations or implementation projects, familiar with agile and classic methods.
• Good process knowledge in mechanical engineering/service, understanding of sales/service departments.
• Experience with cloud sales or service portals, eCommerce solutions is a plus.
• Skills in business process mapping, requirements gathering, documentation, management, and system testing.
• Development experience in RICEFW components.
• Knowledge of integration technologies like IDOC, OData, APIs, Web Services, SAP CPI, AIF, SAP Gateway.
• Ability to work in virtual teams and under pressure.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience.
