About Your Workplace

The Legal & Compliance department, with 25 team members, advises operational areas, central functions, and Miele Group companies, including executive management, on all legal matters, acting as a true business partner. We are currently expanding our "Data Privacy & IT" team to support growth. This team handles legal issues related to digital transformation, including evaluating digital business models, implementing new technologies like AI, and advising on regulatory frameworks.

Your Responsibilities

  • Independent legal advice on all eCommerce-related topics, especially contract law, consumer law, data protection, and IT law
  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating national and international contracts
  • Legal support for Digital Commerce and online business, collaborating with Marketing, IT, Product Management, and Sales teams
  • Monitoring regulatory developments in eCommerce and providing actionable recommendations
  • Legal consulting for departments and management, working closely with our offices in Amsterdam and Gütersloh, and other stakeholders

Our Requirements

  • Degree in Law with successful first and second state exams
  • Relevant experience in an international company or a business law firm
  • Proven expertise in eCommerce and IT law
  • Solution-oriented, pragmatic approach combined with entrepreneurial thinking
  • Strong communication skills in German and English; willingness to travel occasionally
