We are looking for an Expert for Occupational Safety and Fire Protection with Electrical Testing to join our Infrastructure and Campus Development team immediately in full-time (40 hrs/week) at our locations and remotely. You will be responsible for multiple locations including Münster, Dortmund, Bochum, Duisburg, Essen, Wuppertal, Düsseldorf, Köln, Aachen, Bonn, Bad Honnef, Kassel, Erfurt, Leipzig, Dresden, Chemnitz, Hannover, Bielefeld, Magdeburg, Potsdam, and Berlin.

Your Responsibilities

• Support the occupational safety and fire protection department at IU.
• Conduct and document workplace and fire safety audits.
• Plan, execute, and document regular audits across locations to identify hazards and recommend safety improvements.
• Create detailed reports on audit findings and management recommendations.
• Assist with evacuation drills and create risk assessments.
• Conduct electrical safety inspections and testing.

Your Profile

• Completed training as a safety specialist in administrative settings.
• Additional qualification as a trained electrical safety tester.
• Experience in conducting safety audits and creating risk assessments.
• Strong knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and standards in occupational safety and electrical engineering.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• High willingness to travel.
