As the Director of Product for Figurines (Tonies), you will join our Product Leadership Team, responsible for expanding and evolving our figurine portfolio. This pivotal role focuses on delivering diverse, high-quality, engaging form factors such as figurines, plush, and shapes that inspire children and enrich their experiences with the Toniebox. You will drive innovation, develop new formats, and collaborate across teams for successful launches.
Your tasks and responsibilities will include :
Develop and execute the vision and strategy for the figurines product category, aligned with company goals.
Manage the portfolio and roadmap to meet commercial targets and enhance customer engagement.
Lead end-to-end product development, including creating and launching new formats and expanding existing ones.
Gather and analyze market data, sales, and user feedback to inform decision-making.
Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing product team, fostering a collaborative culture.
Work closely with leadership, marketing, sales, and other stakeholders to align initiatives with business objectives.
Define and monitor KPIs to measure success and drive continuous improvement.
What we are looking for :
Bachelor’s degree in Product Management, Business, Engineering, or related; MBA preferred.
8-10 years of experience in product or related fields, with 3-5 years in leadership, ideally in high-growth, international environments.
Experience in launching and scaling toys, especially figurines and collectibles.
Strong understanding of product development, supply chain, and design-to-value processes.
Proven skills in portfolio management and driving product growth.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Data-driven decision-making mindset.
Passion for creating innovative products for children and families.
Willingness to travel regularly (1-2 times/month, mainly to Düsseldorf).
