Mechanical Design Engineer (m/f/d) - Defence

Workplace: 80639, München

What to expect:

• Development and design of mechanical components, assemblies, and systems in 3D CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, Siemens NX, Creo, Inventor)
• Creation of 2D drawings, parts lists, and technical documentation
• Performance of tolerance analyses, strength assessments and thermal analyses
• Collaboration with production, purchasing, quality assurance, and external suppliers

What you bring along:

• Bachelors'/Masters' degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, aerospace engineering, or similar
• Several years of professional experience in mechanical engineering
• Good experience in design (including construction] and development of cooling devices (e.g. “heat exchanger”)
• Confident use of one or more 3D CAD systems
• Several years of professional experience in mechanical design is an advantage
• Experience in dynamic thermal modelling of liquid cooling system
• Experience in specification of cooling systems
• Capability to manage external suppliers for design / construction activities
• Experience in construction of mechanical chassis for electronics devices (for hot & harsh) environment
• Knowledge in additive production methods and mandatory design constraints
• Good knowledge of standardization, materials science, manufacturing processes, and tolerance management
• Fluent in English & German

The assignment will take place (temporary, in personnel leasing) at a client company in the defence sector.
