Your future duties and responsibilities :

As a Senior Consultant (m/w/d) Risk Management IT - Governance, Risk & Compliance (Banking), you will actively participate in client projects, establish and strengthen client relationships, and contribute to expanding our service portfolio. Your tasks include conducting current state analyses, designing processes, optimizing workflows, and translating complex departmental requirements into functional specifications for technical solutions. You will support clients strategically and technically in implementing IT-Governance, IT-Risk, and IT-Compliance methods and processes. Depending on your experience, you may also lead projects or manage project teams to achieve optimal results, working closely with your team and the client.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role :

  • Successfully completed university degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Law, or a comparable qualification.
  • Professional experience in consulting or the financial industry.
  • Strong interest in banking and IT topics.
  • Experience in IT-Governance, Risk, or Compliance Management, and Data Quality Management (DQM).
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and agile project management methods is advantageous.
  • Practical experience in banking-related conceptual design.
  • Excellent MS Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Fluent German and English skills, both spoken and written.

Beyond technical expertise, social skills are crucial. You should be able to listen actively, analyze client needs thoroughly, present convincingly, enjoy teamwork, and be flexible and creative. You should also be comfortable working independently at the front line.
