Job Description

We are looking for a new engineer with experience related to Automotive System Engineering (M / F / O), to assume the following responsibilities:

1. Responsible for an end customer system function and single point of contact to customer and Valeo internally for the relevant function.
2. Writing sys requirements in DOORS derived from customer stakeholder requirements and ensure roadmap.
3. Function analyses, related problem solution and acceptance is owned by Sys engineer which have to be in accordance with internal and external requirements.
4. Sys acceptance can be performed on vehicle or HIL.
5. Technical concept proposals and reviews in correlation with internal and external requirements belong to system engineer which have to be in line with system architecture.
6. Represents Sys in ASPICE audits.
7. Close teaming with customer and presenting technical solutions and concerned performance to customer and to Valeo internal management.
8. Close collaboration with other sys engineers and their functions.

The following skills are required for the position:

1. Completed engineering degree (electrical engineering, computer science, mechatronics, automotive engineering, physics) or comparable training.
2. Several years of experience in system or software design, ideally for embedded solutions in the automotive industry including experience with vehicle bus systems (e.g. CAN, FlexRay, Ethernet).
3. Knowledge in the development and documentation of system functions in DOORS.
4. Programming knowledge such as C / C++ or Python is an advantage.
5. Fluent English.
6. Personal initiative, ability to work in a team, strong communication skills and enthusiasm for technical systems.
