Position: Innovation Campus Manager (2-year contract, permanent contract optional)

Cyber Valley GmbH is seeking an Innovation Campus Manager to join our vibrant team for an initial two-year period, with the possibility of a permanent contract. The role involves close collaboration with faculty, senior researchers, and the president's offices of our academic partners, including the University of Stuttgart, University of Tübingen, Max Planck Society, Fraunhofer Society, ELLIS Institute Tübingen, and Karlsruhe Institute of Technology. Your primary goal is to promote scientific excellence and facilitate platforms for collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for all Innovation Campus partners.
  • Oversee and plan activities of the Innovation Campus in coordination with management and the spokesperson.
  • Prepare and document relevant meetings, including minute-taking for the Cyber Valley Innovation Campus Boards.
  • Support third-party funding activities, including proposals, planning, administration, and reporting.
  • Assist in scientific evaluation reports and co-develop measures to assess success and effectiveness, contributing to ongoing improvements.

Candidate Profile

  • Completed an advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in natural sciences, engineering, or related fields.
  • Professional experience in scientific and administrative project management.
  • Structured, diplomatic, and strategy-oriented working style.
  • Reliable, efficient, and independent work ethic.
  • Proficiency in English and German (at least C1 level).
  • Resilience, flexibility, and enthusiasm for excellence in intelligent systems.
  • Knowledge of standard software packages.
