About your team :

The German Supplier Oversight function coordinates the collaboration of the respective teams with the business to ensure the continuous compliance of their systems / procedures / processes with the relevant legal, contractual, and internal regulations and requirements.

About your role :

In your role as Senior Third Party Risk Manager 2nd line of defense, you are covering a wide range of duties :

  • You act as Deputy Central Outsourcing Officer according to MaRisk AT 9 Tz 12
  • You support the implementation of the Third Party Risk Management methodology as well as the associated tools, templates, reporting standards and escalation processes
  • You independently keep yourself up to date with regulatory changes and point out possible changes that need to be made
  • You conduct regular training activities for Third Party Risk Management stakeholders
  • You coordinate the Third Party Risk Assessment process
  • You are maintaining the Supplier Register
  • You support the 1st Line of Defense stakeholders in defining adequate monitoring measures and relevant reporting
  • You prepare the 2nd Line of Defense Third Party Services Senior Management reporting
  • You oversee the monitoring activities of the business based on KPIs and KRIs
  • You execute 2nd line of defense controls and sample testing
  • You evaluate the third party services assessments, contingency plans as well as exit / termination strategies defined by the operational departments and actively monitor any further need for action
  • You ensure that notification requirements to the regulator are adhered

About you :

You’ll succeed because you have :

  • University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Law, Business Management, or related field of study
  • Good Knowledge in relevant regulation and legal requirements driven by KWG, MaRisk, DORA or EBA & ESMA.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in the compliance and regulatory third party / outsourcing environment and relevant governance concepts
  • Proven ability to transfer regulatory requirements into operational processes
  • Excellent communication skills and it is in your nature to find pragmatic solutions
  • Ability to present your findings on a high-level and report these to all stakeholders on a cross functional level
  • Confidence when it comes to challenging existing processes and supporting your arguments with backed-up reasoning
  • Fluent German and English language skills necessary
  • Passion to continuously drive the bank for more efficiency
