Our team provides comprehensive support and audits for international companies of various sizes. Ensure our mutual success and make a difference with us as Senior Consultant Audit - Power, Utilities & Renewables Sector (m/w/d).

Location: Düsseldorf.

As a Senior Consultant (m/w/d), you will audit and advise within our cross-functional Power, Utilities & Renewables sector, actively contributing to the success of the energy transition.

  • Audit Leadership: You will act as the central contact and link between responsible auditors, the audit team domestically and internationally, and our clients.
  • Future Audit: Using innovative and digital audit tools, you will conduct audits and advise energy industry companies. This includes process analysis and large data set reviews using Data Mining and AI.
  • Team Responsibility: You will coordinate, lead, and motivate the audit team. Together with responsible auditors, you will develop an audit plan and oversee its operational implementation.
  • Thought Leadership: Build expertise on selected energy industry and accounting topics and share your knowledge internally and externally.
  • Business Development: Support the cross-functional expansion of energy industry mandates nationally and internationally by contributing to proposals and building sustainable client relationships.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Economics with focus on Accounting, Auditing, Tax, Controlling, or similar
  • At least 2 years of experience in international auditing and consulting environment
  • Extensive knowledge of national and international accounting standards and strong process and control understanding
  • High quality awareness, communication and leadership skills, team spirit, customer orientation, and negotiation skills
  • Very good understanding of energy industry contexts
  • Excellent German and English language skills, spoken and written
