Responsibilities

• Start your career at Advantest as a Graduate in our Application Engineering Team!
• Join our team as a graduate and become an Application Engineer for our Automated Test Equipment (ATE) systems.
• During our unique 18-month graduate program, gain in-depth knowledge of the semiconductor and ATE industry.
• Learn from experienced colleagues how to develop test solutions for cutting-edge semiconductors and deliver them to our international customers.

Program Details

• Program starts on October 1, 2025.

• Gain expertise in hardware and software development, interfacing ATE systems with various semiconductors.
• Rotate between different technical areas (hardware/software).

• Upon completion, become a fully qualified Application Engineer and continue as a permanent employee.

Your Responsibilities

• Develop and debug test programs for high-tech semiconductor devices.
• Validate newly designed semiconductors.
• Develop customized hardware and software solutions for semiconductor testing.
• Manage complex projects in an international environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues and customers worldwide.
• Share knowledge and experience.
• Work in an innovative, international environment with travel opportunities.

Qualifications

• University degree in Electronic Engineering (Bachelor’s or Master’s) or related knowledge.
• Fluent in English; German is a plus.
• Motivated for continuous learning in a technological environment.
• Experience with C/C++, Java, and scripting.
• Basic knowledge of measurement techniques for electronic components (analog and digital).
• Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
• Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to work with customers and travel.
