Project Manager (m/w/d) – Factory Automation

Siltronic is one of the world's largest manufacturers of wafer from high-purity silicon and partners with leading chip manufacturers, employing around 4,400 staff with production sites in Europe, Asia, and the USA. We develop and produce wafers with diameters of up to 300 mm.

We are currently strengthening our team in Burghausen or Freiberg with a Project Manager (m/w/d) – Factory Automation in full-time.

Responsibilities

1. Analysis, design, and development of functions in production automation
2. Conducting function tests, rollout, training, and handover of software solutions
3. Planning and documentation of tasks using agile methods
4. Operation and maintenance of developed applications
5. Leading projects in global teams with external partners and collaborating closely with specialist departments

Qualifications

• Completed studies in computer science, automation engineering, or equivalent vocational training with relevant experience
• Experience in software development (Java)
• Several years of project experience are desirable
• High commitment, problem-solving skills, team and communication skills, as well as a goal-oriented and independent working style
• Excellent German and English skills in spoken and written
