Hauptbuchhalter (m/w/d)

We are seeking to strengthen our team and are looking for a Hauptbuchhalter (m/w/d) to join us as soon as possible.

Your responsibilities include:

• Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for various companies within the group
• Further development of existing accounting processes
• Preparation of tax returns in collaboration with tax advisors
• Handling tax-related questions, especially regarding VAT
• Serving as a contact for auditors and tax authorities
• Participation in special projects, including the upcoming switch to the SAP ERP system
• Meeting internal and external reporting requirements
• Managing foreign subsidiaries
• Handling ad-hoc inquiries

Your profile:

• Degree in finance or a commercial qualification with further certification as a certified accountant (Bilanzbuchhalter)
• Several years of relevant professional experience
• Good MS Office skills, especially MS Excel
• Proficient in English, both spoken and written
• SAP FI knowledge is desirable
• Team-oriented, highly committed, confident demeanor
