Let’s make a difference in finance for the many people

As Lead Product Manager Cards, you will work in close partnership with colleagues across our different markets, IT, partners and other functions. You will be a key member of our global team where we develop, manage and lead the transformation of our products and propositions within areas such as Retail, Insurance, Loans & Savings, Deposits and Cards & Payments.

You will have a key role in defining our new card product propositions and driving our transformation towards new distribution models and global consolidation.

Key areas of responsibility include :

  • Gather detailed business requirements and coordinate with other Global and Market teams (e.g. Commercial, Operations, Finance, Risk, Financial Crime, Compliance) and third-party technology providers
  • Lead the development of the banks overall card management capability
  • Management of issuing processors and our relationship with Mastercard & VISA
  • Define, prioritise and continue to expand the capabilities supporting loans and card products including payment processing and card issuance
  • Strong stakeholder management as this product set will span multiple internal and external consumers with competing needs
  • Ensure solutions delivered to our partners and customers are cost efficient and can scale globally
  • Responsible for defining and measuring key metrics and KPIs for long-term success of the product
  • Support the vision, strategy and roadmap for the domain across our Products, and be the go to SME for cards within the Bank

Are you the one for Ikano?

We are looking for an inspiring and authentic team player with a strategic mindset and a comprehensive understanding of Card, & Processing and schemes from a commercial and operational (compliance, processes, industry initiatives) point of view.

  • You will have a good technical understanding of core banking architecture, common bank processes and retail banking products and payments, gained from a strong analytical background.
  • You will be a customer champion who understands end user problems, customer needs, competitive and market trends in the cards, payments and core banking domain.
  • You can build and maintain an excellent understanding of the competitor landscape and be able to position the Ikano offering in line with our ambition.
  • You will have a strong delivery focus combined with a genuine interest and knowledge of developments in the industry, together with a good understanding of customer and technology in a business context. Ideally, you will have experience from agile ways of working.
  • Great stakeholder, communication and facilitator skills are also a must in this position, and you are fluent in spoken and written English.
  • Previous working experience in a European multi-market, digital context is strongly preferred.

In this role you will report to our Core Banking and Cards Manager. As you will be working within a bank-wide scope, the role will require some travel meetings. We would like this role to be based at either our offices in Malmö, Sweden or Wiesbaden, Germany.
