You should be enthusiastic about data engineering and eager to support and optimize BI solutions. A basic understanding of BI in Azure and a strong desire to learn, especially in data pipelines, error management, and visualization, are essential.

Activities

• Serve as the primary contact for customer inquiries regarding BI solutions.
• Handle support requests independently via the ticket system, contributing to solutions.
• Support tasks such as managing data loading jobs, error handling, logging, documentation, resolution, or escalation.
• Collaborate to maintain and enhance BI systems hosted on Microsoft Azure.
• Optimize and manage Azure data services like Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure SQL Database, and Power BI.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines for seamless operations.
• Stay updated with Microsoft Azure and Power BI advancements.
• Provide insights and best practices for data management and system optimization.
• Participate in knowledge-sharing and career development activities.

Requirements

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Passion for data engineering and BI.
• Experience with Power BI or similar tools.
• Fluent in English and German (written and spoken).
• Willingness to learn and grow.
• Knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Open-minded, motivated, and self-organized.

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud platforms, especially Azure.
• Knowledge of Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure SQL, Azure Synapse, Azure Data Lake.
• Familiarity with programming languages like Python, Scala, Java, C#.
• Degree in computer science, Business Administration, or related fields.
• Knowledge of data modeling, warehousing, and ERP processes.
