How you support our team

  • External logistics service providers (3PL) are managed and developed to ensure that their performance meets our quality, cost and efficiency standards.
  • The selection, contract management and monitoring of service level agreements (SLAs) are part of the area of responsibility.
  • The collaboration with 3PL partners is analysed, optimisation potential is identified and appropriate measures are implemented.
  • Effective interface management with related departments ensures seamless integration of logistics services.
  • Service provider performance is analysed, key figures are prepared and decision bases are created for management.
  • Cost and budget control in the area of external logistics is managed, combined with the development of measures to reduce costs and increase efficiency.
  • Solutions in cases of escalation are managed and crisis management measures are coordinated.
  • Market analyses and benchmarks are carried out to identify trends and evaluate new service providers.

What sets you apart

  • A degree in logistics, business administration, industrial engineering or a comparable field.
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in managing logistics service providers (3PL) and a deep understanding of logistical processes.
  • In-depth knowledge of contract design and SLA management.
  • Experience in contract logistics and supply chain management.
  • Knowledge of warehouse organisation, inventory management and working with WMS solutions.
  • Confident handling of MS Office applications, especially Excel, and ideally some experience with ERP and WMS systems.
  • Structured, solution-oriented approach, coupled with strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • High level of teamwork, personal responsibility and assertiveness.
  • Very good written and spoken German and English skills.
