Our top-tier retail client in Düsseldorf is seeking a SAP CAR Expert to join their agile, international team focused on supplier and category management across their dynamic supply chain.

Your Role – What You'll Do

As part of an agile product team, you will work at the intersection of business and technology, shaping the future of retail operations across countries. Your responsibilities include:

• Driving the design, development, and implementation of SAP S/4 HANA and SAP CAR systems
• Supporting and enhancing supplier-focused BTP applications
• Acting as the technical bridge between business and IT across international teams
• Creating and refining technical requirements to develop scalable, high-impact solutions
• Designing and testing proof-of-concept innovations
• Defining processes and interfaces in a BTP-driven SAP landscape
• Managing implementation partners and assisting with incident/problem resolution

Your Profile – What You Bring

We’re looking for a hands-on expert with strong technical and conceptual skills:

• Proven expertise in SAP S/4 HANA and SAP CAR systems
• Strong knowledge of SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP)
• Agile mindset with experience working in agile teams
• Solid understanding of software development and product lifecycle
• Technical know-how and programming experience in SAP (preferred)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual thinking skills
• Excellent communication and intercultural collaboration abilities
• Fluency in English (German is a plus, but not mandatory)
