Making Science in Bogotá is seeking a motivated content intern to write current content across sectors, optimize for SEO, and assist with CMS updates.

Join a young, multidisciplinary SEO team to learn, propose growth ideas, and take ownership of content strategies driving organic traffic for clients. You will gain hands-on experience with Wordpress Divi, HTML optimization, and SEO plugins while collaborating from home part-time.

Formación

• CSS knowledge and basic HTML skills for on-page optimization.
• Familiarity with WordPress CMS and Divi builder.
• Understanding of SEO concepts and their impact on content.

Responsabilidades

• Writing current contents across diverse sectors to generate traffic.
• Creating SEO-optimized content.

The SEO Department at Making Science is a young, multidisciplinary team with a vast experience in SEO and an eagerness to learn every day. We always seek to add value to our clients through our expertise and innovation, by going the extra mile in all our projects. We are a small SEO family, that shares their hobbies, concerns, and passion for our job. We are unique!

Our objective is to go hand in hand with our clients to design and execute SEO strategies that help them reach their business goals. Furthermore, we partner and collaborate with the most important tools in the industry, to apply the latest trends in organic positioning.

Currently, our department's portfolio includes important clients, which allows us to apply our knowledge, and innovate continuously. Without a doubt, it is a department where you can continue to evolve as an SEO consultant, alongside our wonderful team and clients.

What we’d like you to do

• Writing of current contents of different sectors with the aim of generating traffic.
• Writing SEO optimized content.
• Identification of interesting topics for the clients.
• CMS management for uploading content to the client's website.
• At the end of the 6-month internship, you should be able to understand the needs and objectives of the client's business, propose growth strategies and implement them.

What we’d like you to bring

• CSS Knowledge
• Knowledge of the Wordpress Divi builder
• Basic understanding or sensitivity towards SEO and its relationship with HTML optimization (relevant tags: h1, metatags, canonicals, etc.).
• SEO Plugins knowledge (ex YOAST for wordpress).
• UX/UI knowledge
