Decibel, a 24/7 trading platform, is seeking its first dedicated video editor in Medellín. You will produce vertical videos for TikTok, Reels, and Shorts at roughly a two-day cadence, following a written standard and rotating formats, within a small marketing team.
You will own end-to-end ideas, craft screen recordings, and deliver credible, high-quality pieces. Strong English and fast delivery are essential for success in this high-output role.
Decibel is an exchange where equities, real world assets, commodities, indices and crypto trade around the clock, weekends included, all from one margin account. Matching, margin and liquidation happen onchain, so a trader can check our numbers instead of taking our word for them.
We launched in February 2026 and crossed $5B in cumulative volume in July. We are not building only for crypto natives. We are building for people who already trade equities and commodities and have never touched a wallet, and for anyone who wants access to more financial products, in more hours, than their current venue offers.
The team is small, scrappy and ambitious, and it runs financial infrastructure that does not close. Markets are open 24/7/365 and so is the venue, which means the team operates the same way: someone is always awake, releases go out on the day they are ready rather than on a Thursday, and the person who finds a problem is usually the person who chases it down. Many functions here are being built by the first person hired into them. Less structure, more ownership, and your work reaching real traders within days.
Video is our primary marketing channel, and we are building production in-house. You are our first dedicated editor.
You will produce most of the video Decibel publishes: short vertical pieces for TikTok, Reels and Shorts, at a cadence of one piece every two days. There is a written video standard, four formats in rotation, and a content calendar, and you will work inside a small marketing team that includes a content designer and a community lead. Because the team is small, you will be involved from the idea rather than handed a brief and a folder of clips.
This is a high-cadence production role. Shipping every two days means the craft shows up across the body of work rather than in any single cut, and some of the strongest pieces will be a fifteen-second screen recording with a caption and a sound cue. When something works, you will be able to point at numbers rather than opinions.
A screen recording of something live that should not be. Gold moving on a Sunday. A funding countdown on an equity. A Korean name trading at three in the morning. Fifteen to thirty seconds. Highest volume, cheapest to make, and the closest thing we have to a scroll-stopper. Our strongest asset is the product itself on a weekend, and it cannot be faked by a competitor that does not list these markets.
One idea explained with a worked example on screen. Forty-five to sixty seconds. The hardest format to make well, because the idea has to survive being simplified.
Wallet to first fill on a phone, one take, no cuts. The highest-priority piece we make, because it shows a new trader exactly what to expect. The one-take rule is what makes it credible.
One market, one view, one catalyst, in the language this audience speaks.
A short, in the public eye clip poking fun at common trading experiences or market situations, keeping the content relatable and engaging.
These rules are already written down, so you will know what good looks like from day one.
COP 3,500,000 to 6,000,000 per month, depending on experience and portfolio.
