South32 seeks a Tailings and Road Coordinator to lead coordination of the Tailings Storage Facility (TSF), Growth Media and Hardshell facilities, site roads, and traffic management systems at the Hermosa project near Patagonia, Arizona. The role ensures safety, compliance and operational efficiency through planning, inspection and contractor coordination.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in mining or heavy industry, with strong collaboration skills and experience in geotechnical monitoring.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mining or Geological Engineering or related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in mining, civil construction, tailings and dam management.
• Project coordination in construction, tailings deposition, water management, or instrumentation.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with diverse teams.
• Experience with tailings monitoring systems and data.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate and oversee TSF, Growth Media and Hardshell facilities, site roads and traffic systems.
• Ensure compliance with OMS Manual, permits and plans; monitor performance trends.
• Coordinate corrective actions from inspections and surveillance findings.
• Support forecasting, tracking and reporting of waste streams in TSF.
• Manage contractor and consultant activities related to TSF projects.
