WSP en Colombia is seeking an experienced MBSE Modeler to develop, maintain, and govern integrated system models for transportation, rail, and infrastructure programs. The role involves translating PBS/SBS into SysML structures and managing traceability with DOORS and related tools.

You will work with system architects, requirements managers, and SMEs to ensure model quality, perform audits, and support architectural reviews across disciplines.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field.
• Experience developing and maintaining models for complex engineering or technology systems.
• Working knowledge of systems engineering lifecycle, requirements management, system architecture, interface management, configuration management, and verification/validation.
• Experience using SysML v1 and/or v2 to represent system structure, behavior, interfaces, requirements, and allocations.
• Ability to interpret multidisciplinary engineering information and convert it into a structured and auditable model.

Responsabilidades

• Translate PBS into SysML package structures and model hierarchies.
• Translate PBS/SBS into blocks, BDDs, and IBDs and related views.
• Represent safety-related functional breakdowns and allocations across subsystems.
• Model hardware, software, and architectures based on inputs from architects and SMEs.
• Create and maintain packages, interface schematics, requirement containers, and traceability.
• Ensure traceability with requirements management platforms (e.g., IBM DOORS).
• Maintain model baselines and apply CM practices to keep consistent granularity.
• Perform model audits and impact assessments to detect interface clashes or gaps.
• Generate model reports and documentation for stakeholders.
