WSP is seeking a Mid- to Senior-Level Civil Design Engineer for its Municipal and Infrastructure team in Colombia. The role focuses on the design of municipal and land development projects, including sites, subdivisions, roads, stormwater, and pipelines, with project work located in Canada.

Key responsibilities include coordinating with a multidisciplinary team, producing technical reports, and supporting client meetings while advancing project management capabilities.

Formación

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Transportation Engineering or Transportation Planning.
• Engineering certification.
• 8 to 10 years of experience in transportation engineering and/or transportation planning.
• Demonstrated technical writing and presentation skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience preparing transportation planning proposals for both private-sector clients and in response to public-sector Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
• Ability to collaborate effectively in team environments, with a strong interest in professional development and continuous learning.
• Preparation of Transportation/Traffic Impact Assessments (TIAs) to evaluate transportation impacts resulting from land-use changes.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with colleagues on a broad range of projects and opportunities, from data collection and analysis to report preparation and supporting the team on various technical tasks, both in the field and in the office, including the preparation of graphic materials.
• Apply best practices and contribute innovative solutions as needed for planning, design, and implementation of multimodal transportation, public transit, and traffic projects.
• Work with a multidisciplinary team comprising transportation/traffic engineers, planners, designers, and landscape architects.
• Prepare and/or review technical memoranda and reports to communicate technical results and recommendations.
• Attend meetings with clients, stakeholders, and the public, as required.
• Progressively develop experience and responsibility in project coordination and project management activities.
