IQVIA, a leading global provider of clinical research services and healthcare insights, is hiring a Support Data Analyst for a fully remote role across Latin America. You will help ensure data quality, resolve discrepancies, and support analytics platforms used across healthcare operations.

The ideal candidate writes and troubleshoots SQL queries, reviews data pipelines, monitors trends, and collaborates with cross‑functional teams to deliver reliable data and actionable insights for production

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/engineering or related field.
• 2–3 years' experience writing and troubleshooting SQL queries.
• Hands-on with Databricks, Hadoop, Spark, PySpark, Snowflake and Kubernetes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.

Job Summary

We are seeking a Support Data Analyst to join a dynamic Data Operations team focused on ensuring data quality, resolving data discrepancies, and supporting healthcare analytics platforms. This role plays a key part in maintaining data integrity and operational efficiency while contributing to IQVIA's mission of advancing healthcare through data-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and troubleshoot incidents and data-related issues.
• Investigate data discrepancies and determine root causes.
• Document, communicate, and provide analysis of data quality issues.
• Create and execute SQL queries for data validation and verification purposes.
• Review application code and identify technical solutions or workarounds when necessary.
• Monitor data trends and communicate findings and recommendations effectively.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support production operations and change requests.
• Apply operational support best practices, including ITIL-based processes.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience writing and troubleshooting SQL queries.
• Hands-on experience with:
• Databricks
• Hadoop
• Spark (Scala-based environments)
• PySpark (Python)
• Snowflake
• Kubernetes
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Hive, Impala, DBeaver, Kafka, CML, or Java.
• Knowledge of healthcare data and healthcare-related systems.
• Familiarity with production support environments and operational processes.
