IQVIA is seeking a Senior Support Engineer – Cloud & Data Engineering to join the production support team in Colombia. You will deliver L2 production support for Azure Databricks, SQL troubleshooting, and Airflow workflow management for enterprise data platforms.

The role requires on-call coverage, weekend rotations, and collaboration with engineering to improve platform reliability, with emphasis on data pipeline stability and incident resolution.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
• 4–6+ years supporting enterprise data platforms or cloud-based apps.
• Experience in Level 2 production support handling escalations and incidents.
• Hands-on with Azure Databricks, Spark, SQL, Airflow, and ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Familiarity with Azure cloud services and modern data engineering concepts.
• Experience troubleshooting distributed data processing systems.
• Knowledge of ticketing systems (ServiceNow/Jira) and incident management.

Responsabilidades

• Provide L2 production support for Azure Databricks environments, including cluster issues and job failures.
• Investigate and resolve SQL-related issues, performance problems, and data quality.
• Troubleshoot Airflow DAG failures, scheduling issues, and workflow dependencies.
• Support production ETL/ELT pipelines and enterprise data platforms.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement long-term solutions.
• Monitor health and reliability of production data workflows and SLAs.
• Collaborate with engineering to improve platform reliability and operational excellence.
• Communicate incident status to technical and business stakeholders.
