Formación

• More than 5 years of experience in energy sector projects.
• Proven experience with natural gas distribution projects.
• Solid knowledge of oil and gas pipelines.
• Fluent English (spoken and written) is required.
• Strong knowledge of earthworks, ROW management, permitting processes, drainage design, and roadway development.
• Proven experience with natural gas distribution projects and linear infrastructure (oil/gas/multiproduct pipelines).
• Proficiency with Autodesk Civil 3D, Bluesky Skyline, or ArcMap/ArcGIS.

Overview

Pond is seeking a Civil Engineer with experience in the execution and development of projects within the energy sector. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in earthworks, right-of-way management, permitting processes, drainage design, and roadway development, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and engineering best practices.

To be successful in this role, the candidate must have strong knowledge of natural gas distribution projects and linear infrastructure, with a particular focus on oil pipelines, gas pipelines, and multiproduct pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Perform design activities related to earthworks, drainage systems, and utilities.
• Prepare or review drawings and technical documentation, ensuring compliance with local and international engineering standards.
• Adhere to company design and drafting standards to ensure consistency and quality across all deliverables.
• Contribute to a collaborative work environment while meeting project schedules and quality expectations.
• Interact with clients, regulatory agencies, and internal teams to achieve project objectives.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Professional Engineering License (or Colombian professional registration).
• More than 5 years of experience in energy sector projects.
• Fluent proficiency in English (spoken and written) is required to collaborate with international teams and clients.
