Job summary

Newell Brands in Colombia seeks a Senior Commercial Finance Analyst to partner with the Commercial and Marketing teams. You will own ITN and A&P budgets, manage the Colombia P&L, and drive profitability through pricing strategies and promotional investments.

You will support month-, quarter-, and year-end closes, build forecasts, analyze profitability by product, customer, and region, and collaborate with Sales, Marketing and Shared Services to ensure accurate reporting and effective

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field.
• 4+ years of experience in Commercial Finance or FP&A, preferably in consumer goods/retail.
• Solid understanding of P&L and gross-to-net drivers.
• Experience with SAP, Hyperion and Essbase Planning.

Responsibilities

• Own ITN lines of Colombia P&L across actuals, forecast and budget.
• Manage annual budget (AOP) and monthly forecast for ITN lines.
• Deliver timely monthly close for ITN including accruals and promotions.
• Support reconciliation of customer trade programs and deductions.
• Analyze Net Sales variances by customer, channel, brand and category.
• Own A&P for Colombia and Peru, track plan by brand and activation.
• Coordinate with Peru FP&A Lead for cluster-wide A&P view.
• Provide finance input to Sales, Marketing and Customer Marketing.
• Prepare product and customer profitability analyses and pricing scenarios.
• Deliver ad-hoc analyses to leadership.
