Job summary

Weatherford seeks an experienced Senior Cloud SCADA Engineer to deploy, configure, and support cloud-based digital solutions and SCADA systems for Oil & Gas customers.

You will lead medium to large projects, design custom solutions, and ensure high quality and timely delivery while maintaining documentation and customer communications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Systems Eng, Electronics, EE, Instrumentation, or related field.
• At least 7 years of relevant experience.
• Experience deploying and debugging enterprise software in Microsoft environments.
• Experience with SCADA software and hardware.
• Experience with RESTful APIs.
• Programming knowledge in C#, PowerShell, SQL, or Python.
• Ability to serve as Technical Lead for medium to large projects.

Responsible for the deployment, configuration, customization, and support of Cloud-based Digital Solutions and SCADA systems for Oil & Gas customers. Serves as a Technical Lead, ensuring projects, customer requests, and system implementations are delivered efficiently, on time, and with the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Install, upgrade, configure, and support SCADA and Digital Solutions applications in Cloud environments.
• Design and implement medium to complex software solutions based on customer requirements.
• Develop custom solutions, integrations, scripts, workflows, reports, and system visualizations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software, hardware, communication, and SCADA-related issues.
• Support customer requests, system enhancements, and technical training activities.
• Participate in software testing and release validation activities.
• Lead small to medium-sized projects and contribute to project planning and budgeting.
• Conduct customer visits and maintain documentation in Salesforce.
• Ensure compliance with company safety, quality, security, and operational standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience.
• Experience deploying and debugging enterprise software in Microsoft environments.

• Oil & Gas industry experience in Production Optimization and Artificial Lift.
• Experience with RTUs, PLCs, communication devices, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of SCADA concepts, practices, and procedures within the Oil & Gas industry.
