Genpact in Colombia is seeking a Sr. Associate - F&A for I2C to manage accounts payable/receivable, cash applications, and AR processes in a hybrid Colombia-based role.

You will collaborate across AR entities, drive standard operating procedures, support dispute resolution, and ensure accurate daily reconciliation while handling real estate client considerations.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, commerce, economics, finance or related field.
• Experience in AR, AP, cash application and collections.
• Spanish language proficiency required, advanced (C1).
• Familiarity with SAP and financial processes is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Make collection calls and email/invoice processing as requested.
• Handle cash application and reconciliation across AR processes.
• Coordinate with AR entities to manage aged receivables.
• Create/update SOPs and support client inquiries and disputes.
• Ensure DRR is completed accurately and on time.

Job Description

Making collection calls to the customers, emailing/faxing invoices or getting hard copies mailed out to customers as per their requests. Understanding of all aspects of Cash allocation in accordance with customer remittances including deep validation experience and report out to business. Cash Application Allocating payments in accordance with customer remittances. Collaborating closely between all entities of AR (different entities) and keep track of all aged receivables including current ageing buckets. Act as Subject Matter Specialist for the AR processes, complete know-how and understanding of the AR value chain. Experience of working with a real estate client will be a preference. Create and update the Standard Operations Procedure and other updates received from time to time. Should be able to deal with clients for any query or information. Identify and resolve unidentified cash and manage end to end process of Cash applications. Process cash application functions to invoices at assigned sites ensuring the DRR (Daily Receipt Reconciliation) is completed in a timely, accurate, and confidential manner. Follow up on customer/internal disputes, customer questions and working between departments to get a resolution. Reconcile orders to match customer books, including validating credits or debits and sending them to customer for collection or refund
