Formación

• 7+ years of software development experience, including senior-level experience.

• Solid experience with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Knowledge of SDLC, design patterns, testing, and object-oriented programming.

Job Description

The Senior Software Engineer (VB) role is focused on the design, development, implementation, and continuous improvement of complex internal software applications, primarily using Visual Basic (VB / VB.NET), C#, ASP.NET, JavaScript, and Microsoft/Oracle databases. The position leads development projects and is involved in the full software development life cycle, including analysis, design, coding, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support. It is responsible for ensuring technical quality, maintaining and optimizing existing systems, and delivering scalable business solutions.

A strong emphasis is placed on Visual Basic expertise, as this skill is key for maintaining, enhancing, and modernizing existing business-critical applications. The role also requires strong experience in APIs, relational databases, and software engineering best practices within collaborative environments. They are seeking an analytical, self‑driven, customer‑oriented professional with strong problem‑solving skills, project management capabilities, and advanced English communication skills.

Qualifications
