Amadeus is seeking a Software Development Engineer to advance the ACUS platform by integrating airline and airport applications with the cloud-based Common Use system. You will develop and maintain backend services, APIs, and automation, and collaborate with multiple teams to ensure reliable, scalable solutions.

The role requires hands-on coding in Java, Python/PowerShell, REST APIs, and middleware, with experience in Windows environments, TCP/IP, and distributed systems.

• Hands-on Software Development Engineer with strong software development, system integration and troubleshooting background.
• Experience with Java, scripting languages (Python/PowerShell), REST APIs, middleware, Windows environments and distributed systems.
• Familiar with Azure, Citrix, Ansible, serial communications, airport technologies or IATA CUPPS/ITPS is a plus.

Through application virtualization technology, ACUS brings airline Departure Control Systems (DCS) and other airport applications to the cloud, enabling on-demand access to passenger processing systems anytime, anywhere.Our team focuses on integrating airline and airport applications into the ACUS platform, enabling seamless interaction with airport peripherals and Common Use environments. We work across software development, system integration, automation, troubleshooting, and deployment to continuously evolve the platform and support reliable operations for our customers.Summary of the role: As part of the ACUS team, you will play a key role in expanding the number of airlines and applications available on the platform. You will develop scripts and interfaces to integrate third-party airline and airport applications with ACUS and enable their interaction with certified airport peripherals.The role goes beyond integration development: you will also contribute to middleware, APIs, backend services, automation, and internal tools, while supporting testing, deployment, troubleshooting, and production activities.
