Job summary

Amadeus Front Office Reservation (FOR) group seeks a Service Reliability Engineer to oversee cloud-based distribution services, monitor system health, and coordinate incident responses. You will work with FOROPS to improve monitoring, tooling, and SLAs across OpenShift/Kubernetes environments.

Ideal candidates have Unix/Linux and cloud experience, strong troubleshooting of distributed systems, and proficiency in Java, Groovy, and Python.

• Experience in designing and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems.
• Ability to debug, optimize, and automate routine tasks.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate incidents and post-incident reviews with Operations and Development.
• Support releases and environment configuration for production and testing.

Job TitleService Reliability EngineerAbout The Business Area/Department :The Front Office Reservation (FOR) group oversees the front office applications used by Travel Agents and Travel Management Companies across the world, with the flag-ship application being Selling Platform Connect. The products are enterprise-class, hosted in public clouds, and built primarily using standard open software on a Java platform.Summary of the role:Within the Front Office group, you will be part of the FOROPS team.
