AgileEngine is seeking an experienced Shopify professional to build and lead our e-commerce practice. You’ll guide teams through implementations, mentor developers, and partner with sales on pre-sales calls to turn Shopify into a growth engine for clients in a remote-first environment.

You will drive end-to-end Shopify projects, ensure high-performance, secure integrations, and align technical solutions with business goals while mentoring junior engineers and collaborating with cross-functional

Formación

• 5+ years in e-commerce with Shopify-focused leadership.
• Deep expertise in Shopify Plus, Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and APIs.
• Proven track record delivering large-scale Shopify solutions and conversion gains.
• Experience leading development teams, code reviews, and mentoring.
• Ability to translate business goals into technical roadmaps and communicate with stakeholders.
• Experience supporting sales conversations and scoping projects.
• Strong written and verbal English; remote collaboration skills.
• Availability for consulting, team leadership, and part-time project work.

Responsabilidades

• Architect and oversee Shopify stores, applications, and integrations end-to-end.
• Drive scalable and secure solutions, establish coding standards, and create proofs of concept.
• Lead small-scale engagements, establish best practices, scope work, and mentor developers.
• Serve as primary contact for a portfolio of clients, translate goals into roadmaps.
• Provide strategic guidance on conversion optimization, UX/UI, SEO, and performance.
• Participate in discovery calls with sales, scope projects, and identify upsell opportunities.
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and marketers to align solutions with goals.
• Ensure designs, themes, and apps meet performance, SEO and CRO best practices.
• Stay current with Shopify updates, headless frameworks, and integrations.
• Champion engineering excellence and contribute to the e-commerce roadmap.
