Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience as a UI Artist or closely related art discipline.
• Experience shipping UI across PC, console, and mobile targets.
• Strong leadership to own a UI theme from concept through final implementation.
• Proficiency in UI/UX design, typography, layout, and visual hierarchy.
• Experience with Unreal Engine 5 and UI tooling.

Responsibilities

• Own the visual direction of the UI look and feel from concept to ship quality.
• Translate UX wireframes into high-fidelity mockups, design systems, and style guides.
• Implement final UI art directly in Unreal Engine using UMG, Slate, and widget animations.
• Create UI materials and shaders using Unreal Material Editor to support a consistent theme.
• Design game menus, HUD elements, iconography, and UI motion to meet gameplay needs.
• Author material-driven effects, 2D or animated effects, and basic Blueprint logic for UI.
• Optimize UI assets for performance and clarity across PC, console, and mobile targets.
• Ensure UI supports accessibility and localization readiness without sacrificing quality.
• Maintain UI asset libraries, style guides, and reusable components.
• Coordinate with designers and engineers to iterate quickly and resolve integration issues.
