Job summary

Monks Technology Services, part of Media.Monks and S4 Capital, is seeking a Senior Travel and Expenses Specialist in Bogotá, Colombia. You will oversee daily T&E processes through Rydoo, ensuring accurate expense reporting and policy compliance, while serving as the main liaison for employees, Finance, and HR.

You will guide users, manage configuration changes, and generate reports to identify cost-saving opportunities, partnering with Finance and Procurement to optimize workflows.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of travel and expense management, accounts payable, or finance operations.
• Familiarity with Rydoo; experience with Concur, SAP, or similar tools is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of corporate T&E policies and basic accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems, particularly NetSuite.
• Intermediate to advanced English proficiency, both written and spoken.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and meeting deadlines.
• Analytical and problem‑solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset.
• Clear communication skills and customer service orientation.
• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
• Strong teamwork and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
• Adaptability to system and process changes.

Responsibilities

• Review, validate, and approve or reject expense reports per T&E policies.
• Guide employees on Rydoo usage and compliance requirements.
• Liaise between Finance, HR, and employees for T&E inquiries.
• Monitor compliance with policies and local regulations, escalate as needed.
• Assist with Rydoo administration including user management and configuration changes.
• Support Finance with expense reconciliation and reporting.
• Generate and analyze T&E reports to identify trends and cost-saving opportunities.
• Partner with Finance and Procurement to optimize processes and recommend automation.
• Train employees and onboard new hires on Rydoo usage.
• Other duties as assigned

About the Role

As a Senior travel and expenses specialist, you’ll oversee daily Travel & Expense (T&E) processes through the Rydoo platform, ensuring employee expense reports are processed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with company policies and local regulations. You’ll serve as the main point of contact for employees, Finance, and HR, supporting system usage, troubleshooting, and continuous process improvements.
