Loft Orbital, based in Colombia, seeks a senior technical program manager to lead software and service operations initiatives across distributed teams. You will guide agile processes, collaborate with product and engineering, and drive automation to improve operational efficiency.

The role requires extensive experience in software projects, strong cross-team communication, and the ability to operate across time zones with an international team.

Formación

• 8+ years of technical program/project management experience in software and service operations.
• Proficiency with Jira and Confluence.
• Demonstrated experience facilitating Agile development teams (Scrum, Kanban, or similar).
• Analytical mindset plus the ability to develop processes to address operational challenges, automating whenever possible.
• Strong interpersonal skills; capable of influencing others without formal authority.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to develop materials for an executive audience.
• Ability to travel at least once per quarter for cross-office collaboration.
• Background in space industry, tech startups, organizations building both hardware and software solutions.
• Previous experience working with an international team across time zones.
• Experience in product management or working closely with product teams.
• Experience with Python or automation/scripting in software engineering environments and metric generation.
