NielsenIQ is seeking a Database Administrator to support SQL Server databases hosted in Microsoft Azure across multiple environments. The role focuses on performance, incident investigation, configuration, integrity, and high-availability.

Responsibilities include roadmap contribution for cloud adoption, backup procedures, DR/HADR, and code deployments, with an emphasis on security and least privilege across environments.

Formación

• Significant experience of Microsoft SQL Server administration with Production support.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Clustering and virtualisation concepts.
• Experience with AlwaysOn Availability Groups.
• Strong understanding of T-SQL languages.
• Good knowledge of source control/versioning approaches.

Responsabilidades

• Contribute to SQL Database roadmap and cloud technology adoption.
• Maintain integrity and performance of all database platforms across environments.
• Ensure backups and disaster recovery procedures are in place.
• Maintain high-availability and disaster recovery (HADR) systems including failover/failback.
• Provide administration and support for security, SQL Agent Jobs, SSIS Packages.
• Deliver database-related code deployments across platforms and environments.
