Job summary

Zone is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to lead the architecture of AI-native financial modules on the Oracle NetSuite ERP platform. You will guide globally distributed teams, shape multi-entity consolidation patterns, and ensure scalable, testable design across NOAM, EMEA, and APAC.

You will drive high-stakes decisions, mentor engineers, and own important outcomes while delivering reliable, enterprise-grade software for clients like Tripadvisor, Next Insurance, and Sumo Logic.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Fintech, Payments, or ERP-integrated SaaS experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Architect complex, high-value features across the Zone platform.
• Lead AI workflow integration for throughput without quality loss.
• Protect system integrity by identifying tradeoffs early.
• Decompose vague requirements into staged execution plans.
• Translate debt and architecture choices into clear business impacts.
• Refactor fragile paths and raise code quality standards.
• Anticipate bottlenecks and resolve delivery pressure points.
• Mentor mid-level and junior engineers through reviews and guidance.
• Own OKRs and KPIs with accountability for outcomes and timelines.
