Experience in Voice AI or Salesforce Health Cloud is a plus but not required; strong backend and QA focus is welcomed.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent relevant work experience).
• Proven track record in performant systems design and high-availability, high-throughput, or low-latency architectures for real-time environments.
• Strong preference for production exposure in regulated environments (Fintech, HealthTech, Banking, Government, etc.).
• Hybrid work background with ownership, feedback, and open collaboration in team settings.

We are looking for a full-time Senior Software Engineer to help design, develop, deploy, and scale microservices and infrastructure powering our high-performance platforms.

This is a hybrid position based in Medellín, Colombia.

While the ultimate goal of this role is to bridge into real-time Voice AI applications and advanced workflows, prior production experience in Voice AI or Salesforce Health Cloud is NOT a strict requirement. We are looking for a strong full-stack / backend engineer with a deep understanding of high-performance system design, low-latency architectures, and a strong commitment to software quality.

Key Information & Core Stack

• Infrastructure: Cloud-based (AWS) and Enterprise Platforms (Salesforce ecosystems).
• Role Orientation: Highly QA-leaning (strong focus on testing, reliability, and robust engineering practices) and Architect-leaning (low-latency systems design).
• Domain Focus: Real-time infrastructure (Voice Infra) and workflow management within regulated environments.

Primary Job Duties

• System Architecture: Leverage cloud-based service providers (AWS) and enterprise platforms (Salesforce) to design and implement production-caliber applications for real-time data processing and administrative self-service workflows.
• Performance Optimization: Ensure real-time performance of infrastructure, implementing specific optimizations for low-latency data processing and reliable conversational interactions.
• Quality & Reliability (QA-Leaning): Advance software engineering practices by developing automated tests, establishing end-to-end testing guidelines, and contributing to the ongoing improvement of telemetry and system reliability monitoring.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with strict data security regulations while deploying scalable solutions that mitigate bias and improve platform accessibility.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate product improvements impacting day-to-day operations by working alongside implementation, operations, and technology partners to anticipate and mitigate live issues.

Required Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent relevant work experience).
• Systems Design: Proven track record in performant systems design; ability to translate deep knowledge of high-availability, high-throughput, or low-latency architectures into real-time environments.
• Regulated Environments: Prior production exposure to highly regulated or compliant environments is strongly preferred (e.g., Fintech, HealthTech, Banking, Government, or similar sectors with strict data compliance).
• Teamwork: A strong track record of contributing meaningfully to team-based development in a hybrid work environment, aligned with values of ownership, feedback, and open collaboration.

Preferred (Nice-to-Have) Qualifications

• Experience or familiarity with Voice AI technologies, including ASR (e.g., Whisper, DeepSpeech), TTS (e.g., Amazon Polly, Google WaveNet), or Conversational AI (e.g., Rasa, Dialogflow, Amazon Lex).
• Familiarity with complex enterprise data models, such as Salesforce or Salesforce Health Cloud.
• Prior experience dealing with U.S. healthcare administrative processes, data data models, or standards (HIPAA, EHRs, Payers/Providers).
