Equate Media is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to join a remote LATAM-based team. The role focuses on strengthening a high-volume communications platform that handles thousands of calls daily.

You will work across frontend and backend stacks with Node.js, TypeScript, Vue 3, Python, and AI-powered features, ensuring reliability and scalability in live production systems.

• 5+ years of professional full stack experience in production systems.
• Strong Node.js and TypeScript expertise; cross-language work as needed.
• Frontend with Vue 3 or modern frameworks; quick adaptation to Vue.
• Experience in multi-service architectures and real-time systems.
• Experience with MySQL, Redis, Postgres, AWS, and observability tools.

Job Title: Senior Full Stack Developer

We are seeking a skilled Senior Full Stack Developer with experience in real-time systems, multi-service architectures, and modern web technologies to join our growing team at Equate Media. You will play a key role in strengthening and expanding a high-volume communications platform that supports thousands of inbound and outbound calls daily. Your work will directly impact operational efficiency, platform reliability, AI-driven automation, and business performance across live production systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Quickly ramp up within an existing multi-service production platform and contribute across multiple repositories and services
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues spanning frontend applications, backend services, telephony systems, databases, and infrastructure
• Build and improve systems supporting real-time call flows, lead routing, buyer matching, and dispatch operations
• Develop scalable backend services and APIs using Node.js, TypeScript, NestJS, Python, and FastAPI
• Build and enhance internal operational interfaces using Vue 3, TypeScript, React, and Next.js
• Architect and integrate AI-powered capabilities including transcription, summarization, automated dialing decisions, and workflow automation
• Contribute to technical architecture decisions while improving engineering standards, observability, maintainability, and system reliability

Must-Have Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience as a Full Stack Software Engineer working in production environments
• Strong expertise in Node.js and TypeScript with the ability to work across Python and PHP services as needed
• Strong frontend development experience with Vue 3 or extensive experience in modern frontend frameworks with the ability to quickly adapt to Vue-based applications
• Proven experience working within complex, existing production systems and multi-service architectures
• Hands-on experience debugging full-stack issues across frontend, backend, databases, infrastructure, and real-time systems
• Experience with MySQL, Redis, Postgres, AWS, and modern observability tools such as Grafana, CloudWatch, or Sentry
• Strong ownership mindset with the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, high-impact environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with telephony platforms, VoIP, SIP, Twilio, or CPaaS providers
• Familiarity with WebRTC, Socket.IO, browser-based softphones, and real-time event-driven systems
• Experience integrating LLMs and AI workflows into commercial production applications
• Knowledge of LangChain, LlamaIndex, Pipecat, vector databases, or embedding pipelines
• Experience with real-time audio streaming and WebSocket-based AI processing
• Background working in polyglot environments combining JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, and PHP
• Experience modernizing legacy systems while continuing to deliver new product functionality
