BlueCloud is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design and own scalable Snowflake-based data pipelines and models. You will lead architecture decisions, implement ELT/ETL patterns, and ensure governance, security, and data quality across the platform.

The role requires 7+ years in data engineering, deep Snowflake expertise, and strong SQL/Python skills. You will collaborate with clients and cloud teams to deliver high-performance, cost-efficient solutions.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on data engineering experience.
• Deep expertise with Snowflake including performance, security and data architecture.
• Strong SQL and at least one scripting language (Python).
• Experience designing ELT/ETL pipelines across batch, incremental and CDC.
• Familiarity with Dimensional Modeling, Data Vault, or Lakehouse.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP in data engineering.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and own scalable data pipelines using SQL, Python, dbt, and cloud-native tools.
• Architect and implement ELT/ETL patterns across batch, incremental, and CDC pipelines.
• Define data transformation logic, data quality validations, and business rules.
• Lead Snowflake environment design, cost governance, and performance tuning.
• Oversee data governance, security controls, and data lineage documentation.
