Slalom is seeking a hands-on Data Engineer to build and improve data pipelines and keep production platforms running smoothly within a modern Databricks and Snowflake EDW ecosystem.

You will monitor pipelines, respond quickly to incidents, implement code enhancements, and drive reliability through ITIL/ITSM workflows while partnering with stakeholders across regions in a collaborative all-shore delivery model.

Formación

• Strong SQL skills (debugging, performance awareness, data validation).
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake and Databricks.
• Comfort in fast-paced, consulting-oriented environments.

Responsabilidades

• Build, enhance, and troubleshoot data pipelines and Databricks and Snowflake ELT/ETL processes.
• Monitor data batch cycles and respond to failures, latency, or data-quality issues.
• Diagnose and resolve production incidents using SQL, Python, logs, and runbooks.
• Perform root cause analysis, document findings, and implement fixes to prevent recurrence.
• Drive operational improvements: automation, alert tuning, performance optimization, reliability enhancements.
