Job summary

ToolsGroup Inc. is seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer to lead IT service operations and own production reliability.

You will head a small IT/Ops team, diagnose distributed-system issues, automate recurring work, and drive lasting improvements across Windows, Linux, Kubernetes, and cloud environments. The role emphasizes practical incident ownership, cross-functional collaboration, and hands-on engineering to ensure service availability and scalable reliability in a fast-growing

Qualifications

5+ years operating high-availability, customer-facing services with technical ownership.
Experience leading high-severity incidents and communicating findings.
Strong Windows/Linux, TCP/IP, DNS, and networking troubleshooting.
Hands-on cloud operations in Azure/OCI or similar, including IAM and observability.
Production experience with containers and Kubernetes, including rollback and scaling.
Deep observability practices: metrics, logs, traces, alerting, SLI/SLOs.
Experience with identity management (AD/Microsoft Entra ID) in hybrid environments.
Automation and IaC using PowerShell, Python, Terraform; CI/CD with secure practices.
Proven mentoring or senior escalation role and cross-functional leadership.

Responsibilities

Lead major incidents from impact assessment to recovery and post-incident actions.
Troubleshoot distributed systems across Windows/Linux, Kubernetes, cloud, and APIs.
Operate and improve Azure/OCI cloud environments with cost-aware scaling.
Define SLIs/SLOs, observability, alert quality, and recovery readiness.
Automate tasks and controls with CI/CD pipelines and secure credential handling.
Clarify service ownership and translate business needs into reliability requirements.
