AgileEngine is seeking a Senior SDET to strengthen quality across web and API layers using Java, REST Assured, and Playwright. This role blends a developer's mindset with a shift-left testing philosophy, embedding automation directly into CI/CD pipelines.

This position offers a chance to build testing practices from the ground up in a fast-moving engineering environment. You will build scalable automation, define test strategies, and mentor engineers while ensuring high-quality software across

Formación

• 4+ years of experience as an SDET Engineer.
• Strong programming skills in Java (a developer-first QA).
• Extensive experience using REST Assured for backend testing.
• Proven hands-on experience with Playwright.
• Deep understanding of the shift-left approach and integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to work independently and provide technical direction on quality initiatives.
• Upper-intermediate English level.

Responsabilidades

• Build and maintain scalable, robust automation frameworks from the ground up for both Web and API layers.
• Define the automation strategy, ensuring high test coverage and reliable release cycles within your squads.
• Create comprehensive API automation suites to ensure the integrity of microservices.
• Implement and manage frontend automation scripts to ensure a top-tier user experience.
• Mentor other engineers on testing best practices and foster a quality-first culture.
