AgileEngine is seeking a Senior SDET to strengthen quality across web and API layers using Java, REST Assured, and Playwright. This role blends a developer-first mindset with a shift-left testing approach, embedding automation into CI/CD pipelines and driving testing practices in a fast-moving engineering environment.

You will build scalable automation frameworks, define strategy, mentor engineers, and help ensure reliable releases across squads in a dynamic tech workplace.

Formación

• 4+ years of experience as an SDET Engineer.
• Strong programming skills in Java (a developer-first approach to QA).
• Extensive experience using REST Assured for backend testing.
• Proven hands-on experience with Playwright.
• Deep understanding of the shift-left approach and integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines.

Responsabilidades

• Build and maintain scalable automation frameworks for Web and API layers.
• Define the automation strategy to ensure high test coverage and reliable releases.
• Create comprehensive API automation suites for microservices.
• Implement and manage frontend automation scripts for high-quality UX.
• Mentor engineers on testing best practices and foster a quality-first culture.
